Sterling, Kan. – The Lady Warrior soccer team was shut out against an Avila team that continues to set themselves up as one of the top tier teams in the KCAC. Sterling was shut out by great defensive play by the Eagles as they allowed 7 shots in the game and just two on goal.
The Warriors fall to 3-5 this season and 1-3 in conference play.
The Lady Warriors play both matches this week on the road. Wednesday they play at McPherson and Saturday they take on #9 Oklahoma Wesleyan in Bartlesville.
