AVILA ATHLETICS HOSTING GOLF TOURNAMENT IN JULY

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – On July 21 from Brookridge Golf Club in Overland Park, Avila Athletics will host its second-annual golf tournament, benefitting the Avila Athletic Department.

“Our golf tournament is a great day to get alumni, supporters and our entire Avila Athletics family together for a great event,” said Avila Athletic Director Shawn Summe. “I want to thank Heartland Trailways for serving as our title sponsor as well as Brookridge Golf Club for hosting our event. We are very excited about this great venue where we get the opportunity to play an outstanding course in the Kansas City area so close to campus.”

The 2025 golf tournament features a full day of fun and camaraderie, beginning with a shotgun start at 12 PM.

Throughout the day, there will be three contests: Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin and Hole-in-One. All participants will receive a welcome bag and Avila University swag, plus post-tournament dinner, drinks and raffles.

There are six different sponsor options for those interested, ranging from $150 hole and tee sponsor to $7,500 title sponsor.

Pricing begins at $225 per person or $800 for a foursome.
