"This is the culmination of a season where we put it together," said Avila head coach Paul Wolf. "It has taken us four years to get to this point. This Is what I'm expecting every year from here on out."
Friday was the Sectionals' Singles Qualifiers for the men and women. Senior Aidan Tesdall finished in the top-third – 68th out of 191 – with an average score of 204.

Saturday and Sunday were all Baker games for the 20 programs – throughout all levels of collegiate bowling – at the Fort Worth Sectionals.
The men had a positive performance, finishing 11th, while the women ended the season 17th.
On the men's performance, Wolf was proud of how his team performed against some of the biggest schools in the country: "The men bowled well as a team. In a field like this, they more than held their own."
In a season highlighted with quite a few strong individual and team performances, the team's performances in Fort Worth can lay the foundation to continue to grow the program.
"They got a taste of what the postseason is like," Wolf said. "We're losing seniors, but we are recruiting to build this back up. We have a great core coming back for next season as well as a strong recruiting class."
