The only coach in Avila bowling history, Paul Wolf begins his first season in charge of the Eagles' men's and women's bowling programs in 2024-25.

In 2023-24, Wolf's third season leading the bowling program saw Bryce Stewart becoming the first Eagle named First Team All-KCAC in program history. 

The Avila women's bowling program's third season saw Second-Team honors for Kamdyn Burman and Claire Busch, both of whom were top-10 scorers in the KCAC this season. 

The second season in program history was where the Avila bowling program made its mark. With both programs doubling in size, the men's and women's programs won the inaugural KCAC Tournament in the 2022-23 season. The 2022-23 season saw five Eagles named to All-KCAC Teams: Devyn Coleman was named to the women's First Team and Claire Busch and Joanne Alibayan were selected to the women's Second Team. On the men's side, Nick Hays and Evan Serrage were named to the men's First Team.

Additionally, Devyn Coleman was named the KCAC Newcomer of the Year.

Wolf took home hardware following the outstanding 2022-23 season, as he was named Avila's Darryl Cronk Coach of the Year

In the inaugural season for Avila's bowling program in 2021-22, Wolf's teams made immediate impacts, finishing sixth in the 2022 KCAC/GPAC Bowling Championships.

Wolf spent four seasons as a touring bowler on the PBA from 1987-91 and was inducted into the Greater Kansas City USBC Hall of Fame in 2013.

A bowler for nearly his entire life, Wolf has bowled more than 30 perfect games in his career.

Wolf and his wife, June, have three sons: Sam, Hank and Max.
