MEN’S SOCCER GIVES UP FOUR GOALS, FALLS TO MCPHERSON

MCPHERSON, Kan. – Freshman Ethan Solognier's first goal of his collegiate career was not enough as Avila men's soccer fell to McPherson on Saturday afternoon, 4-1.

Two first-half goals from the Bulldogs put the Eagles in a 2-0 halftime hole and a third coming out of the break put the lead further out of reach.

Solognier scored in the 57th minute for his first goal of the season.

McPherson added another goal late in the second half to finalize the scoreline.

Avila drops to 0-6 on the season and returns to The Z on Wednesday for their KCAC home opener versus Saint Mary.
