
MEN’S WRESTLING FINISHES KAUFMAN BRAND BAYLY UCM OPEN
WARRENSBURG, Mo. – Competing in their fifth event of November, Avila men's wrestling wrapped up the weekend at the Kaufman Brand Bayly UCM Open on Sunday evening.
Terrell Carter-Williams put up another positive performance, going 2-2 on Sunday in the Elite 141-pound division.
Carter-Williams won by decision over Jayden Nowell of Ottawa and followed that up with a win by major decision over Brennan Bear of College of the Ozarks.
In the Elite 184 division, Kendric Gordon went 1-2 with his win coming via fall over Quenton Reickard out of Missouri Valley.
Gordon and Carter-Williams combined to amass 5.5 points for the Eagles in the Open.

The Eagles will take the holiday weekend off from competition and will return to the mat for a dual at Saint Mary on Dec. 5. Avila's first event at Mabee Fieldhouse is right around the corner as the team will host the Eagle Duals on Dec. 14.
