
MEN’S WRESTLING SEASON ENDS AS VOLIVA BOWS OUT OF NAIA NATIONALS
PARK CITY, Kan. – Avila men's wrestling's 2024-25 season came to an end on Thursday night in the Wichita suburbs as Jeremiah Voliva went 0-2 in the NAIA National Championships.
In his opening-round match, Voliva took on the 11-seeded Jameel Coles from Grand View and lost via tech fall, 19-3.
After receiving a bye in the first round of the 184-pound consolation match, Voliva's season came to an end with a tech fall loss, 19-4 to Brice Parks of Campbellsville.
Voliva's season was another step in the right direction for Avila men's wrestling as he was the KCAC's 184-pound conference champion as well as being named the Outstanding Wrestler of the 2025 KCAC Championship.
