TENNIS STUMBLES AT HASTINGS

HASTINGS, Neb. – Making their longest road trip as a program to date, Avila men's and women's tennis both fell at Hastings on Friday afternoon, 7-0 at the Doris Becker Tennis Facility in southern Nebraska.

On the women's side, Dani Jean-Louis lost a close super tiebreaker in the No. 1 singles match, 3-6, 6-3 (10-5).

In the No. 2 women's singles match, Kylee Bragaw fell 6-1, 3-6 (10-4).

Jean-Louis and Bragaw were the lone Eagle women to win a set on the singles side.

The Avila men also fell 7-0, with Brady Darr winning four total games and Robbie Davies picking up three of his own.

Plenty of learning moments came from the matches versus Hastings as the young Eagles teams will be back in action on Saturday at Doane beginning at 10 AM.
